LIKE MANY other Cook Islanders, I have been following the EU agreement/purse seining issue closely. The recent MMR/EU/Spanish purse seine factory ships association OPAGAC meeting was an attempt to justify the EU fishing agreement and intended presence of the Spanish fleet here.
