Dear Editor, There was much in Mr Neves pork response letter (Tax policy to lower cost of living, October 15) which needs to be challenged but it would be helpful, Editor, if your readers had before them an earlier letter of mine which you published five years ago on 11 October 2008 (at the time of the Wall Street crash) under the headline ‘A case for market protection’.
