Mangaia trip not a perk

Dear Editor, Te iu! It seems the letter-writer ‘Pricey Presents’ wants a share of free perks.

To answer your question, Minister Albert Nicholas did not decide to go to Mangaia because of free perks. He is there because he is the Minister of Internal Affairs and Sports. He is there because he represents RAPPA. I am stoked he agreed to make that decision to go to Mangaia. Why not?

I am also stoked that given this opportunity he could open doors with the Mangaia Youth and Sports community where he has vast experience.

Yeah, he bent the rules a little bit about loyalty and integrity, but that’s one little thing compared to bigger issues that other politicians have been involved in. He is still a man of his word. He has not abandoned his people. That’s what matters most. He is taking every opportunity so that RAPPA benefits as a whole. Should I go on?

If you don’t see it that way, then get off your behind and join him!
