Bring it on wins first ever Air Badminton gold medal

Bring it on (pictured) won the first ever Air Badminton gold medal during the 2022 Cook Islands Beach Games at The Edgewater Resort and Spa courts on Saturday.

The side made up of Danny Simpson, Carlie Marsters, Ambushia Mateariki, Kathleen Adams and Ahkim Tikaroa finished fourth in their pool but put on an impressive performance in the knockouts to finish the two-day competition on top.

Lessgho 2.0 of Emanuela Mataio, Loureina Kureta, Casonya Bates and Tinomana Naea settled for silver medal while Assassins managed bronze medal.

Team Assassins comprised of Ngaoa Ranginui, Shane Pedersen, Tokoa Elikana, Kariana Hagai, Solo Akamoeau and Tavita Piakura.

The Beach Games played over two weeks concluded on Saturday.
