Autism Cook Islands hosts first Badminton class
Autism Cook Islands students at their first session of badminton for Term 2 AUTISM COOK ISLANDS/25052829

Autism Cook Islands recently conducted their inaugural training session in collaboration with Badminton Cook Islands late last month.

The badminton program, hosted by Badminton Cook Islands, takes place every Monday at St. Joseph’s Hall, located across from Prime Foods.

Twelve students attended the first one-hour badminton class.

Kat Jensen, ACI Programs Manager, noted that badminton aids students in developing social skills and motor coordination.

It also enhances their ability to respond quickly and improves their attentiveness. The badminton program excites the children, who thoroughly enjoy the challenges and energetic movements associated with the sport. Jensen remarked, “Kids are really enjoying being back at Badminton...”
