Brown congratulates Australia’s PM on his re-election

Prime Minister Mark Brown has congratulated Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on his re-election.

Brown said the people of Australia have spoken clearly – “choosing a steady hand, a fair go, and a vision for opportunity.”

He said, “The Cook Islands relationship with Australia is underpinned by our bilateral 'Oa Tumanava Partnership. It is a commitment to working together in support of Pacific unity, greater prosperity, and enhanced security.”
