Dear Editor, On Tuesday last week I reported to the Police that my watch had been stolen from my home.

I could offer no evidence or suspicion as to the perpetrator. 

On Thursday evening I was informed the Police had recovered my watch.

On Friday I confirmed the identification of my watch. 

This was a highly competent piece of policing that deserves full credit.

Well done to the Police.
