Poor show

I’m appalled to read the fob off by Luisa Peters dodging the questions asked of sports officials and CISNOC bigwigs by Moana Moeka’a, wanting to know if the Cooks are on track for the Pacific Mini Games.

Too bad if Luisa doesn’t think this newspaper is the place to answer questions holding CISNOC to account. This (the newspaper) is exactly the right place to ask and answer questions like those asked by Moana.

As a former editor here, Moeka’a obviously thinks the same. What’s obvious is that Luisa and CISNOC are dodging the issues and covering up their incompetence  and inability to do their jobs properly and transparently, and to attend to their  responsibilities . Communicating through the public medium of the daily newspaper is surely one of their obligations. If they had any noice or clues about public relations they would see Moana’s public questioning as an opportunity to get on the front foot.
