A workshop organised by Chiavanni Le’Mon began at 2pm at the Tavioni Gallery where those who will be marching gathered.
Te Hīkoi mō te Tiriti, motivated and hit the hearts of Māori in Rarotonga who have organised a peaceful march to be held on Monday.
Chiavanni Le’Mon, organiser of the event, earlier said she was overwhelmed by the response she received from the community following her social media post about a hīkoi in Rarotonga.
The hīkoi will begin at 12pm from Terevete Park to Avarua Harbour.
