Yesterday, they were busy marking the busy Muri Road.
In a statement, Infrastructure Cook Islands said that their paint stocks have arrived and they will be marking the roads with a new type of reflector paint.
In July this year, ICI secretary Elizabeth Wright-Koteka explained they were looking to complete the road markings in the Muri and Tupapa areas that were not completed.
Wright-Koteka then said that ICI had used up all its road marking paint and due to budget constraints had to wait for funding replenishment in the new financial year to purchase more road paint.
Following the approval of funding for the new financial year in July, ICI ordered the road paint.
