The Executive Officer of Mitiaro, Anna Roi, has also confirmed that, as of May 31, businesses or local stores will no longer be allowed to sell and promote tobacco.
Mitiaro, Atiu, Mangaia, and Mauke will officially be declared smoke-free islands starting May 31.
