The Miss Cook Islands Association, one of the two beauty pageant groups in the country, is planning to host its Miss Cook Islands 2025 pageant in September.

Sahay went on to represent the country at the Miss World 2019 in London where she placed sixth overall and won the Oceania continental title.

According to the Pacifica Pageant Community social media platform, the Miss Cook Islands 2025 pageant is planned over two days on September 3^rd and 6^th at the National Auditorium.

The event will open with a contestants reveal cocktail, which is expected to be held on August 23, 2025, followed by the Tropicana Showcase event and the Project Runway showcase.

According to Pacifica Pageant Community, since being established in 2015, the Miss Cook Islands Association has held four pageants and have sent Cook Islands representatives to international pageants including Miss World.

Out of the four women that went to Miss World, three have placed in the top 25 with the most successful being Sahay.

Earlier this year, Miss Cook Islands Association secretary Rohan Ellis told Cook Islands News that the association would focus on organising a spectacular Miss Cook Islands 2025 pageant, and the winner would represent the little paradise at Miss World 2025.
