Hygiene packs sponsored by the New Zealand High Commission Office were well received by non-government-organisations (NGOs) earlier this week.

The Cook Islands Red Cross Society distributed the hygiene packs to Creative Centre, Cook Islands Disability Council, Te Are Pa Metua, Te Kainga and the Cook Islands Child Welfare Association.

President of Cook Islands Red Cross, Lisa Iro addressed the Creative Centre patrons and hardworking staff, recognising the good work they do.

The hygiene packs will come in handy and be useful for the Centre, said Patience Vainerere from Red Cross. The hygiene packs include paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, facial tissues and mosquito coils. On behalf of the Creative Centre, Alaine Estall thanked Red Cross and the New Zealand High Commission for the products which are always needed and used in the centre.
