“Congratulations to our children for accepting Jesus into your hearts through the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. May you all be enriched in your journey of faith daily.”

First Holy Communion is one of the most significant milestones in the life of a young Catholic. It is the moment when children receive the Eucharist – the Body and Blood of Christ – for the first time, deepening their relationship with Jesus and their place in the Catholic Church.
Traditionally, children prepare for this sacrament through religious education, prayer, and attendance at Mass.
The ceremony, often held during a special Mass, is a meaningful time not only for the communicants but also for their families, godparents and the wider parish community.
