The winning design will feature prominently on a range of merchandise and promotional materials in the years ahead, including T-shirts, singlets, caps, sunglasses, notebooks, magnets and bracelets.
“This is a significant year for the Cook Islands — and for our Foundation,” said CIBCF President Jaewynn McKay.
“We’re looking for a fresh design that speaks to hope, resilience, and the strength of our communities. Something that honours our past while looking confidently to the future.”
The Foundation’s last logo competition was held during the 50th anniversary in 2015.
The two selected designs — by artist Kay George and designer Edna Torea Allan — have become widely recognised symbols of breast cancer awareness throughout the Cook Islands and beyond.
Entries for the 2025 logo competition are now open and will close on July 31, 2025. The winning logo must be adaptable for use across a wide range of print and digital formats and reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to early detection, support, and strength.
A prize will be awarded to the winning designer.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for Cook Islands residents of all ages and backgrounds to shape how the Foundation is seen — not just here at home, but internationally,” said McKay. “Whether you’re a professional designer or simply a creative spirit with a message to share, we encourage you to enter.”
