Cook Islands Tourism Industry Council recently gifted a high-quality video camera and microphone system to the Cook Islands Chamber of Commerce and their new meeting room facility.
This will also be available for the two
organisations to take to larger scale meetings and enable offsite members to be
included through programmes like Zoom. Tourism Industry Council president Liana
Scott said: “As an associate member of the Chamber of Commerce we now plan to
hold our monthly executive meetings in this new, centrally located facility.”
“The video-conferencing capability will enable
any of our executive who cannot physically attend to contribute remotely.”
Fletcher Melvin, president of the Chamber of
Commerce, sincerely thanked the Tourism Council for their investment.
“This is a facility available to our members
and the wider business community and the addition of quality video-conferencing
capability makes this even more attractive to potential hirers.”
