Police media and strategic advisor Trevor Pitt said 21 fines were issued to drivers last Tuesday by the night shift team.
Pitt said nine traffic fines were issued over the weekend.
He said that with officers conducting checkpoints, police also attended to two cases of drivers reported to have been driving dangerously.
One was a motorbike with red and blue lights, similar to those used by the Police.
A motorcyclist was reported stunting without lights and riding into oncoming traffic at Kiikii on Friday night.
There was also a motorbike crash at Kaena on Friday afternoon.
In other matters, police attended a burglary reported at Ruaau on Friday afternoon.
Pitt said that concerns were raised about four juveniles, currently in the system, who were observed in the town area late Friday night
Police spotted them at 1am Saturday. Two girls ran off, and the two boys were warned.
