Wooing the crowd with her grace

Savanah Nia put on a graceful performance in the Te Mire Ura 2020 competition held at a packed National Auditorium last night.

Nia, who competed in the junior division (10 years to 13 years), represented Pamati Enua (Palmerston Island).

Six other competitors took the stage in the junior division followed by seven contestants from the intermediate division (14 to 17 years).

Other contenders were: Roma Daniel who will represent Apii Avarua, William Ioane - Apii Nikao and Orama, Kimberly Uini - Tongareva and Titikaveka, Nicholas Ioaba - Apii Nikao and Orama, Te Pa O Te Rangi Tupa - Nukutere College, Aporo Williams - Apii Avarua and Orama, Sophina Tararo, Moana Rakei, Heinarii Tauira, Rio Teika, Nicolea Mateariki, Henry Ioane and Leigh Emile.

Ngarima George, John Pareanga, Peka Takai George, Makitua Boaza, Louisa Purea, Larry Tumai, Ana Savage and Enua Peyroux judged the event.
