A number of school holiday programmes are keeping children busy.

Ariki Adventures kicked off their booked-out holiday programme with a bang this week.

After a wet start to the first week of school holidays, Tuesday saw the kids ready for an action-packed adventure where they hit the lagoon for the Stand Up Paddleboard & Sea Scooter session on a windy, but sunny day.

A highlight for all of them was taking a ride on Ariki’s monster paddleboard, Te Taniwha and after a trip to Avana, they returned to some hot and crispy fish bites.

The Ride & Climb session on Thursday was a lot of fun, Kave Tamaariki said and the crew from Ariki praised the group who they said were awesome uphill adventurers and never gave up climbing and giving it their all.

Meanwhile Rarotonga school children were treated to the first of a number of school holiday programme developed by Turama Pacific Travel Group.

Local children experiencing the new initiative by the largest inbound tourism company are being inspired and kept on their toes during the bus tour around the island that includes a number of stops at key points of interest.
