An exciting battle looms in The Computer Man women’s competition which kicks off tomorrow.
Cook Islands Cricket chief executive officer Alister Stevic says there are no clear favourites this year. He expects the battles to go down the wire after impressive performances from teams last season.
Muri won the title last year, closely followed by Avana which remained in the race from the start.
“All in all, it is going to be an exciting start to The Computer Man women’s competition this Saturday with eight teams getting down to business,” says Stevic.
Matches start at 12.30pm and will see Avana/Turangi CC taking on Tupapa CC at the Turangi Oval, Muri will host Arorangi at Nukupure Park, Matavera CC will play new Muri under-19’s at the Matavera Field and top four hopefuls TKV will host Nikao CC up at Happy Valley.
