Tough start to Touch

The Bluesky men’s and women’s open touch competition got off to an excellent start with some tough matches played at Nikao field on Monday.


Round one started with GAT men’s side taking on the Kuki Squad (female) team.

The national squad comprising players, who are being earmarked for the Pacific Games in Samoa, put on an impressive performance against the GAT side.

The team has been training for about six weeks and under the guidance of coach Jonas Atai, the players showed great skills and determination.

In the other matches, Germinators defeated Team ATT in the men’s clash while NIKS overcame Bounty Hunters (4-2) and FBI won against Nukz Power 5-4.

The Bluesky mixed competition kicks off today.
