Spots are still available for players and teams wanting to compete in the 2019 Bluesky Touch Competition.

The weekly event kicked off on Wednesday last week with muster matches to allow teams time to prepare and settle down for the competition proper in the coming week.

The muster games continued yesterday, following on from last week’s mixed muster games.

Cook Islands Touch Association president Daphne Brown said yesterday’s games at Nikao Field provided an opportunity for the open men’s and women’s to finalise their teams.

“Any mixed teams wanting a run are also welcome to join. Also calling on all referees to come to the muster games for a run,” Brown said.

“Any teams that have yet to register can do so with Julz Westrupp on 55055 and will be slotted into the draw. The season competition will kick off next week with the open men’s and women’s on Mondays and the mixed teams on Wednesdays.”
