New team Foodland have a blend of experience and youth under the leadership of former national rep Pozo Ngaroi and could be ones to watch this season.

Meanwhile the fit 007 youngsters showed impressive discipline in sticking to their team game plan in their warm-up games.

An enthusiastic Team Transport turned out for a taste of the mixed game taking on newcomers All Starz.

Boisterous regulars Aroa T Bags took on newcomers HHS Live Smart, and both teams were evenly matched, boasting fancy footwork and speed.

The competition begins with the open men’s and women’s matches, and teams are reminded to be on time and in uniform.
