Mixed touch rugby matches are always dynamic as both men and women work together to outdo their opponents. Mixed touch rugby matches are always dynamic as both men and women work together to outdo their opponents.

There’s a real competitive air about the mixed touch rugby division as teams, especially the government department ones, work hard to outdo each other on the touch rugby field.

Mixed touch rugby teams return to Nikao field for their scheduled games today kicking off at 5pm.

First up though the fast and fit 007 crew will take on the environmentalists while the golden oldies group go head to head with the communication specialists from TCI.

Both these two games will be played at 5pm.

The ICI team from Public Works will have to put their hard hats on as they face the fancy Aroa Bay crew today at 5.40pm while last weeks on fire squad the Southcoast Scorpions are sure to prove a handful for Tapeez today when they go head-to-head on field two.

The final match-ups of the day will see the Nukz Power try to live up to their names against the money counters from MFEM, while TCI play a second game against the Bench Warmers who are proving to be more than their team name alludes.

Touch rugby fans are in for a treat this afternoon at the Nikao field.

Today’s draw – 5pm on field one Mongoose vs TCI, 5pm on field two NES vs 007, 5.40pm on field one Aroa Bay vs ICI, 5.40pm on field two Tapeez vs Southcoast Scorpions, 6.20pm on field one MFEM vs Nukz Power, 6.20pm on field two TCI vs Bench Warmers.
