Today marks the start of the touch rugby season proper and after two weeks of blowing off the dust,  games will be played with more intensity.

Teams will want to get their season off to a strong start and organisers are reminding all team leaders that players must play in their registered teams and uniforms are a must.

In the men’s competition, one team will play two games each Monday to avoid a bye.

This week the fit young under 20’s team will play twice and will step out on the field first against the Tumeke Smurfs.

The team will then play the last game of the night against Nukz Power.

Games at Nikao field kick into action at 5pm.

Today’s draw – 5pm on field one (men)  Under 20’s vs Tumeke Smurfs, 5pm on field two (women) Lifters vs Nukz Power,5:30pm on field one (women) FBI vs South Coast, 5.30pm on field one (men) Germinator vs Team Conrad, 6pm on field one (women) Bounty Hunters vs Vaine Toa, 6pm on field two (men) Manatoa vs Da Boyz, 6:30pm on field one (men) Nukz Power  vs Under 20’s (m).
