Finals time in touch rugby

Its grand finals time in the open men’s and women’s touch rugby tournament today at the Nikao field.

Playing off for third and fourth in the women’s division will be team Kaos and Kimiora who will take to field one at 5pm.

The men’s third and fourth place match will also run at 5pm on field two and this will be between the Itiki Power lads and the Wild Stallions.

The first grand finals match will start at 5.30pm in the open men’s division and it’s set to be an action packed match between Da Ropaz and Nukz Power.

The women’s finals will be played out at 6pm and will see the experienced Bounty Hunters meet the young upcoming talents in team FBI.

The prize giving for the competition will be held straight after the games and all are welcome to get along to Nikao field and check out the hot touch rugby grand finals action.

Meanwhile, last Wednesday the mixed division teams played out their final round games ahead of the playoff round this week.

Last week’s mixed results – Maritime Cook Islands 1 vs Northern Stormers 8, Justice 5 vs Mongoose 7, Telecom 4 vs Wackies 3, Tumeke Smurf 3 vs Live Smart 0, Tereora 4 vs Westpac 1, 007 5 vs Nukz Power 0, 1MFEM 5 vs MFEM Kings 4, BCI Transactions 2 vs MOE 3.

Tonights open finals draw – 5pm on field one-(women) Kaos vs Kimiora, on field two-(men) Itiki Power vs Western  Stallions, 5.30pm on field one-(men’s final) Da Ropaz vs Nukz Power, 6pm on field one-(women’s final), Bounty Hunters vs FBI.
