U16 women do their coach proud

New Zealand are through to the U16 Women’s Championship final after a comprehensive 9-0 victory over the Cook Islands, despite an impressive game from the knockout stage debutantes.

The Cook Islands national girls U-16 soccer team went down to Fiji 2-0 in the last of their pool games at the Oceania U-16 OFC Championships in Apia, Samoa.

Tupapa Maraerenga will take on last year’s champions Puaikura in the pre-season finals today at 3.45 at the CIFA complex in Matavera.
