The Cook Islands Football Association this week will be launching the exciting, all new Kia Orana Youth Football Festival – a programme designed to target, support, and to develop young future upcoming local football prospects.

The future looks all right for the All Whites after Fifa announced its proposed slot allocation for the expanded 48-team World Cup, including an automatic place for Oceania, 16 places for Europe - up from 13 - and a six-team inter-zonal playoff tournament for two more spots.

Cook Islands Football Association hosted a CIFA Women’s Football Day to mark International Women’s Day.

Football’s regional body, Oceania Football Confederation, has presented a challenge to its member associations to support International Women’s Day through football.

In support of International Women’s Day, the Cook Islands Football Association (CIFA) will be hosting a Women’s Football Day event this Friday at the Takitumu School grounds in Matavera.
