Nikao to battle Titikaveka in football semis

The Nikao Sokattak premier men’s team can book a place in the CIFA Knockout Cup final if they beat Titikaveka today at 5pm.

The pair meet in the first semi-final at the CIFA Complex.

Titikaveka only managed to qualify for the semis as best loser. However, if the side shows the same fighting qualities they displayed against Round Cup Champions Tupapa Maraerenga in the CIFA Knockout eliminations round, they can possibly cause an upset.

Nikao Sokattak coach Alex Napa will be expecting committed performances from their star players Mark Leito, Toru Mateariki, Julius David and Nathan Tisam.

Both teams cannot afford a loss in concentration in this fixture, as it will end their CIFA Knockout competition campaign.

Today’s semi-finals will kick off with the under-14 girls division, Titikaveka facing Nikao Sokattak at 4pm.
