Top sides maintain their leads

Tupapa Maraerenga Premier men’s team and Titikaveka’s Senior women’s team are currently leading the 2018 Round Cup Championship.


In the Van’s Premier Men’s Competition Tupapa Maraerenga is sitting on 25 points ahead of Puaikura and Nikao Sokattak who have 16 points to their name. Puaikura, with a better goal difference, is in second place and Nikao Sokattak are settling for third spot.

In The Islander Senior Women’s Championship, Titikaveka, after 9 rounds of games, leads this division with 21 points followed closely is Tupapa Maraerenga on 19 points ahead on Avatiu on 17 points.

Leading the way in the DJ Gas U-17 Men’s division is Tupapa Maraerenga on 25 points followed in close contention is Puaikura on 21 points and in third place is Nikao Sokattak.

Puaikura is in the driver’s seat for the BSP U-14 Girls and BSP U-14 Boys division.

Prime Foods ever so popular Under 11 Mix and Under 8 Mix have Titikaveka in the top spot followed by Avatiu in second and Puaikura in third while Nikao Sokattak’s Under 8 Mix take the lead with 25 points with Avatiu closely catching up with 22 points and Tupapa Maraerenga with 18 points.

With six round of games left to play in the 2018 Rarotonga Round Cup Championship, there is plenty of room in all divisions for the various clubs to improve their standing and even win the championship.- CIFA Media
