Takuvaine men’s side will play their last football game of the season this week, against Avatiu at The Swamp tomorrow at 5pm.

The game will mark the end of the season for the TKV side, while Avatiu still has a match remaining against Tupapa Maraerenga.

Against Avatiu in their final Round Cup Competition game of the 2017 season, Takuvaine team will look to get into their offensive groove one last time.

Coming off arguably their best win of the competition, holding off defending champions Puaikura in a 3-2 win, Takuvaine will look to keep that aggressive form going.

When they have been able to find their attacking flow with proper execution, they’ve been a team to reckon with.

Avatiu comes into Friday’s match with just one win this season, sitting at the bottom of the table.

Although they’ve struggled this season, Takuvaine won’t be taking Avatiu lightly.

Earning the maximum points is of utmost importance for the visitors and they will be hoping that it will be enough to keep them sitting on second.

However, with two games left, the third-placed team on the points table. Nikao Sokattak. will be fighting to finish the competition on a high note.

Meanwhile, the Avatiu and Takuvaine under-14 boys and senior women’s team will be taking the field today, which promises to produce some exciting football action.
