Tupapa Maraerenga face Matavera

Tupapa Maraerenga will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the Round Cup Championship when they take on Matavera tomorrow in the premier men’s division.

The game kicks off at 5pm at Victoria Park.

The first time these two teams met, the match ended in a 3-3 draw.

Tupapa Maraerenga will be looking to avoid falling behind in the first half and consequently chasing the game, as they had to do against Matavera earlier in the season.

Matavera will be hoping to come back and get things going again and will arrive at the Victoria ground with no fear, believing they can cause a big surprise.

Both teams will be looking to dominate possession and hassle their opponents to put them under pressure early. However, this will also create space for players to exploit.

Meanwhile, the Tupapa Maraerenga and Matavera under-14 boys and senior women’s teams will be taking the field today in a bid to win the maximum points at stake.
