It’s Tupapa Maraerenga in the driver’s seat!

With the halfway mark approaching, the 2017 Rarotonga Football Competition clubs have earmarked their placings on the points table, with Tupapa Maraerenga in the driver’s seat for the Vans Premier Men’s Championship and The Islander Senior Women’s Championship.

 

In the Vans Premier Men’s Championship, Tupapa Maraerenga is sitting 13 points ahead of Puaikura and Takuvaine, who have 10 points to their name.

However, Puaikura has a better goal difference in second place and Takuvaine has had to settle for third spot.

Sitting on top with 13 points in The Islander Senior Women’s Championship is Tupapa Maraerenga, followed closely is Titikaveka on 10 points ahead on Nikao Sokattak on nine points.

The Hori Signs Under 17 Men’s Championship has produced a number of riveting matches and results, placing the teams in their respective spots on the points table.

Leading the way is 2016 Round Cup Champions Nikao Sokattak on 13, although their lead is slim as second-placed Matavera is on 11 points and in third place is Tupapa Maraerenga.

In the BSP Under 14 Boys and Girls competition, Tupapa Maraerenga is taking the lead in the Under 14 Boys division with Nikao Sokattak and Puaikura both in hot pursuit.

Nikao Sokattak is ahead in the Under 14 Girl’s division with twelve points followed closely by Matavera.

Prime Foods ever so popular Under 11 Mix and Under 8 Mix have Takuvaine in the top spot followed by Avatiu in second and Tupapa Maraerenga in third.

Meanwhile Titikaveka’s Under 8 Mix take the lead with 13 points with Takuvaine right on their heels with 12 points and Avatiu with seven points.
