Round two of the U17 men’s Rarotonga Round Cup competition clash give Tupapa Maraerenga the unenviable task of facing off against one of more formidable sides.
Plenty of action is expected to go down at the Matavera Field, as Nikao will look to add to the three points that they claimed last week.
Tupapa Maraerenga, after a draw last week, will look to rebound in the hopes of capturing their first win of the season.
With both sides coming into the game determined to win, it will be a display of some of the best young talent that Rarotonga has to offer.
Not only is the round important for either team to win for bragging rights, it will also be a chance to remain in contention for the Round Cup Championship title.
Matavera is the other team that claimed a win last week, and will look to make it two from two against Avatiu, while Titikaveka will square off against Puaikura.
Today’s proceedings will commence with the U8 and U11 mixed at 4:15pm at the CIFA Complex in Matavera.
