THE THIRD round of the English Football Association Cup gets underway this week with lots of tantalising draws as the big guns of the premier League and Championship join the fight for one of sport’s greatest trophies.

Manchester United takes on Reading, minnows Peterborough face Chelsea, Everton are at home to Leicester and West Ham meet Manchester City. A lot of New Zealand eyes will follow in-form All Whites striker Chris Wood and his Leeds teammates as they travel to Cambridge for their clash. Wood has netted 13 times in the Championship for Leeds this season, including two in last week’s 3-0 win over Rotherham.  For his first, Wood controlled a cross on his chest, held off and spun away from Rotherham defender Kirk Broadfoot and smashed a shot into the roof of the net. He then followed that up by sweeping in his second goal from close-range in the 79th minute.
