Tupapa close to winning women’s title

Thursday November 10, 2016 Written by Published in Soccer

A WIN today may be enough for Tupapa Maraerenga to seal the women’s title in the 2016 Round Cup Championship.

The side takes on Avatiu in the Islander Hotel women’s battle at The Swamp at 5pm.

In their last encounter, Tupapa Maraerenga defeated Avatiu 4-1.

Tupapa will be heading into this match as favourites having not lost a single game throughout this season.

However, Avatiu cannot be underestimated.

The women in yellow and blue have shown streaks of determination throughout the competition and will have an upper hand with home-ground advantage this afternoon.

Today’s competition will kick off with the Under-14 boys clash at 4pm.
