For 30 years, Rugby 7s at home has been part of our club culture at Avatiu Sports Association.

What takes us back as a club is our respect, loyalty and love for Avatiu. To some it may seem that it’s just a club, but for us here in Avatiu – it’s about family.

Like every kid growing up in Avatiu, we eat, sleep and dream sports. We take every opportunity to become best in something. If not as a player, a coach.

Taking this to grassroots we’ve had to learn to take on roles to be as best as we can as players, teachers and role models for our young. Like our fathers have done for us.

Today Avatiu Rugby will be taking the field for the 30th year. We take with us pride and passion knowing our village will be behind us.
