Tupapa Panthers will have a good chance of extending their lead in the Rarotonga club rugby competition when the side hosts Titikaveka Bulls tomorrow at Victoria Park.

After a massive 34-17 win over defending champions Avatiu Nikao Eels last week, the side is expected to have an easy run against the struggling Bulls at home in the upcoming round-four clash.

Bulls have not been able to be find their footing in the competition, losing their opening two matches to the Eels and Takuvaine Reds.

With the Eels on a bye this weekend, the Darren Piri-coached Panthers will have a perfect opportunity to take a comfortable lead on the points table, heading into the final three rounds.

In the other Senior A clash tomorrow, the Arorangi Cowboys will host the Reds in The Bond Store match of the week at Raemaru Park.

Cowboys will be hunting for their first win of the season, while the Reds will be hoping to maintain their form from last week’s 20-14 win over the Bulls.

Meanwhile, the juniors’ programme, which will see matches in the U9, U13 and U16 grades, will continue this weekend at Raemaru Park in Arorangi, starting at 11am.

The Senior A matches will kick off at 4pm.
