In the lone Rarotonga Club XVs competition match this week, Titikaveka Bulls will take on Arorangi Cowboys in the under-19 clash today.

The match at Teimurimotia Park will kick off at 4.30pm.

Cook Islands Rugby Union chief executive officer Ben Koteka expects a tough tussle between the two teams.

“This will be a good match with both the U19 Bulls and Cowboys in good form,” Koteka said.

In their round one match, the Bulls defeated the Cowboys 24-17.

Players to watch out for Bulls are midfielder David Napa and number eight Leandro Vakatini.

For Cowboys, the Maui twins Nick and Matt in the halves will be leading the charge.

Meanwhile the Senior A competition will go on a break this weekend after completing round five last week.

Tupapa Panthers is leading the points table with four wins and a draw from their five games so far.

Last week, the Andrew Iroa-coached side defeated defending champions Avatiu Nikao Eels 23-18 in an interesting tussle at The Swamp.

Eels remain one of the contenders for the main title on second place with three wins and a draw.
