Playful surf generates fun oe vaka time trials

Multi-sport athlete Serena Hunter digs deep in the first leg of Wednesday's fourth time trial race passing the Trader Jacks waterfront restaurant and bar that sponsors the annual event. Hunter was one of 14 local paddlers that took part in the race and clocked a time of 47.23 at the end of the eight km race to be first woman home and ninth overall.
