Following the huge success of New Zealand prime minister Bill English’s visit to a Just Play session recently, the Just Play Village Festival continues its monthly programme, heading south to Titikaveka today.

In many ways, the game of golf is a desperate pursuit – a lifetime spent whacking a little white ball around golf courses seeking some sort of perfection that is pretty much unachievable.

The inaugural Gordon Murray Memorial Fishing Competition held over the long weekend was pretty well all over after the first two hours when Gordon’s grandsons  – Gordon and Kerry Murray – weighed in their winning 75.6 kg black marlin before morning tea on Friday.
