The Black Pearls will wear a new crown as they take to the court to defend their M1 Nations Cup title in Singapore.

The Cook Islands Black Pearls are once again queens of Pacific netball, wearing the crown the national netball association has been battling to regain since the 80s.

Learning has been at all levels of the St Joseph’s Primary School community this year with the schools athletics competition this week showcasing new skills for both teachers and students.

Building better pathways and creating more competition for local athletes is a key focus for Athletics Cook Islands with the Youth Athletics Competition for secondary schools set for Friday this week.

One-way rugby games were played in round four of the club rugby season with the Avatiu Eels and Arorangi Cowboys outplaying their opponents at the weekend.
