The event at the Tikioki triathlon site will start at 6.30am, with registration and warm-up before the main race at 7am sharp.
Athletics Cook Islands president Ina Marsters said the half marathon was an annual event to help prepare runners for the Round Rarotonga Road Race.
She said it provided the perfect course to “warm up” for the gruelling race, to be held on September 23.
“We normally have the Rarotonga-based players participating in the Round Raro Race also competing in this half marathon.
“An invitation is also extended to any visitors who would like to take part in this event. There is no entry charge and anyone is welcomed.”
Marsters said they were hoping to have about 20 runners in tomorrow’s race, which will be a 21 kilometre event.
