Mini games attract 3000 participants

More than 2,000 athletes and officials have registered for the 2017 Pacific Mini Games.


The latest numbers were reported during the chef de mission meeting in Port Vila, Vanuatu this month.

Over 3,000 are ultimately expected to participate in the games, which will feature 14 sports and 24 nations, including New Zealand, Cook Islands and Australia

Athletes and officials who have yet to sign up for the Mini Games, to be held from December 4 to 15, have until October 20 to register.

Organisers have also announced the schools that will be designated to house athletes and officials from participating countries.           - Saipan Tribune
