Tennis players do country proud

Young Cook Islanders continue to thrive at the Pacific Oceania Junior Tennis Championships in Lautoka, Fiji. With most of the squad under 12, they have done their country proud with their overall winning record on Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday Boys 12 & under singles Team Event Group A: Cook Islands Boys - Northern Mariana Island Maka Maui:  Won 6-3, 6-0.  Played Danial Kang. Jesse Toa (Bumble): Won 4-0, 4-1. Played Anthony Gregoire. Boys 12 & Under Doubles Team Event Group A: Jesse Bumble Toa won 4-0, 4-1. Played Anthony Gregoire. Wednesday Girls 12 & Under Single Team Event: Cook Islands Girls – Tuvalu Girls. Moana Une lost 6-2, 0-6, 9-11. Played Telupe Lupeli. TeAkaiti Toa won 7-6, 6-1. Played Oliver Peseli. Girls 12 & under Doubles Team Event: TeAkaiti Toa, Moana Une won 5-4, 4-2. Played Telupe Lupeli, Oliver Peseli. Thursday Boys 12 & Under Singles Team Event Group B:

East Pacific Boys - Northern Pacific Boys, Ariitea Cotti-Helm, won 4-1, 4-2 Played Arman Sachdev

Arikitoa Allsworth, won 4-2, 4-2 Played Ton Perez. Boys 12 & Under Doubles Group B: Arikitoa Allsworth, Ariitea Cotti-Helm won 4-0, 4-2. Played Ton Perez, Aarman Sachdev.
