While disappointed with the winless outcome of the Cook Islands Black Pearls national netball squad at last week’s Pacific Netball Series – coach Trish Wilcox says the future of Cooks netball lies in its future potential youthful squad.

Round two of the Pacific Netball Series got underway last night at the Telecom Sports Arena with the unbeaten favourites Fiji Pearls leading the charge.

Fiji national netballers continued their dominance on the courts on Tuesday evening when they overcame a determined Samoan side 50-48 to register their second win at the Pacific Netball Series.

The Fiji Pearls signalled they are the team to beat at the Pacific Netball Series in Rarotonga after a commanding first-up win against the Cook Islands Black Pearls.
