The Ngatangiia Netball Club is defying all odds in their drive to revive netball in their village.

Defending premier champions Titikaveka have decided to forfeit all their games played outside of the Bluesky Sports Arena in the Rarotonga Netball Club competition.

The Netball Cook Islands Under-21 fundraising committee has set up a page on the Givealittle website to raise $30,000 for the team’s campaign to the World Youth Netball Championship in Botswana.

After a perfect start to their campaign, defending premier champions Titikaveka will be hoping to continue their rhythm when they take on Takuvaine in the feature match of the Rarotonga Netball Cup competition today.

Defending champions Titikaveka started their 2017 campaign on a high note winning the opening match over the weekend.

The Rarotonga Netball Club competition kicked off this week with anticipation of an improved performance from the participating clubs this season.

Netball Cook Islands will continue with its fundraising drives in a hope to raise enough money to help the national Under-21 team in its Netball World Youth Cup campaign.
