Netball action was back on over the weekend after taking a break to send their condolences to Kopu Anguna from the wider netball community.

For the second round in a row, once again only one premier game was played, with the Titikaveka Pearls hosting the Tupapa Panthers.

The two sides met in round two earlier in the competition, with Titikaveka victorious on that occasion 42-33, and on Saturday they made it two from two against the Panthers, with a monster 72-40 demolition job.

The Titikaveka Pearls were led once again by experienced goal shooter Alanna Smith.

The defending champions were once again too good for the Panthers, who were without star defender Ananina Piri, who is in New Zealand as part of the Pacific Nations Netball Academy for the remainder of the competition.

In the under-17 competition, the Avatiu Dragonflies had a big win against Tereora B, 43-22.
