The halfway point of this year’s Rising Stars Netball tournament will feature only one game in the premier grade.

To start round five, the Arorangi Flames will be hosting the Titikaveka Pearls in what is expected to be a tough encounter for both sides.

The Flames will also be hoping to reignite their fire after last weekend’s six-goal loss to Tupapa, while the Pearls also had a loss last week against the table-topping Avatiu Dragonflies, going down 43-49.

This week Titikaveka will welcome back into the side experienced goal shooter Alanna Smith, who has returned to the island after a few weeks overseas.

In the 17U grade, the undefeated Arorangi Flames have a bye, while the Tereora A school team will hope to continue their momentum after registering their first win of the tournament last weekend when they take on Avatiu at 11am.

Their counterparts Tereora B will be hosting Tupapa at the courts in Muri from 12.30pm.

Then in the 13U grade, Tupapa have the tough task of taming Ngatangiia/Matavera after their impressive 51-23 win last weekend against Arorangi.

After a bye last weekend, Avatiu will look to get a win when they host Apii Avarua in the other 13U game today.

Meanwhile, there will be three games contested in the 11U competition, with Arorangi playing Titikaveka, Ngatangiia/Matavera against Tupapa, and Avatiu facing Apii Avarua.
