Last weekend the team ran into an absolute buzz saw of an Arorangi side, consistently one of the top in the league, and have worked hard in training this week to rebound from the tough result.
Arorangi, playing at home, will look to repeat last week’s performance against Takuvaine, who suffered a narrow loss to Tupapa, 42-47.
The other premier match will be contested by home side Tupapa and Avatiu. The latter last week lost a close one to Titikaveka, 28-43.
Matches for Arorangi and TKV in the six and under grade will start at 11am this Saturday, while eight and under for Tupapa vs Avatiu and 10U for Ngatangiia/Matavera vs Takuvaine will begin at midday.
